David Bajurny, Partner

DavidBajurnyDavid Bajurny is an accomplished operations executive with extensive management experience serving all levels of the public sector (municipal, provincial, and federal) and the private sector in technology, consumer packaged goods, entertainment, automotive, financial, manufacturing, health, educational, communications, and resource driven industries. He has taken both lead and team roles in strategy formulation and deployment, operations management and process improvement, strategic project and program management, analysis, design, implementation, support, maintenance, and training (lecture and workshop based).

David holds a Certificate of Management Excellence from Harvard Business School, a BSc. Hons cum laude from the University of Ottawa, a post graduate Applied Information Technology Diploma magna cum laude, a certified Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute), expert level training with Decision Support and Business Intelligence platforms, and is a Lean Six Sigma Specialist practitioner and lecturer.

Ron Barr, Associate

ron barrMr. Barr is an accomplished executive and innovative business professional with senior management experience in Strategic Planning, Business Transformation, Organizational design, Performance Management, Logistics, Real Estate, Facilities Development, Project Management, Finance, Operations and Analysis. Mr. Barr has extensive business process management expertise to corporate and government clients and has delivered problem solving and improvement solutions in the form of analysis, transformation management, project management and implementation of initiatives, plans and programs. Mr. Barr has had extensive experience with the Federal Government managing major projects with client such as The Department of National Defense (DNSD), Treasury Board, The Senate of Canada, etc. In recent years, Mr. Barr has focused on Municipalities; assisting in improvements to productivity and improved service delivery. Mr. Barr also has held senior positions in a number of large corporations:

  • Program Manager, Infrastructure Design & Implementation, Frito-Lay Canada (PepsiCo)

Guus Saaltink, Associate

Saaltink_GuusGuus’ extensive consulting experience includes federal, provincial, and municipal/regional government projects, as well engagements for technology, automotive, financial, and manufacturing industry clients.

He has taken both lead and team roles in strategy development, planning, project management, and process analysis, as well as in the design and implementation of process improvements and software solutions.  His municipally-oriented consulting work has focused on land use planning, transit and transportation planning, and economic development planning.

In addition to consulting he has worked in business (Xerox; Northern Telecom), Government (Consulting and Audit Canada, Ministry of State for Urban Affairs, Public Health Agency of Canada), and academe (Mohawk College).  His responsibilities included assisting the public health professionals at Public Health Agency of Canada’s [Foodborne] Outbreak Management Division to develop their performance metrics and performance reports, quantifying the financial resources utilized in Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory’s urgent response to SARS, investigating departmental levies for corporate overhead costs, and leading branch Information Management improvement initiatives. He briefly ran a micro start up developing educational software.

Guus is a graduate of Dalhousie University with a BA in Economics and of Harvard Business School with an MBA.

Anil Gupta, Associate

AnilAnil Gupta is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Consultant specializing in organizational performance improvement. He provides executive consultation on Lean Six Sigma deployment, strategic alignment and building an organizational culture of excellence; leads Lean Six Sigma training at all levels & provides executive and project coaching. His current list of clients include Bombardier Aerospace, Opentext Corporation, Scotia Bank, Toronto Public Library & Qantas Australian Airlines among others.

Over the past decade, he has led the deployment of quality excellence and continuous improvement initiative in a diverse range of industries.

Anil is a certified Master Black Belt from the Six Sigma Academy, Scottsdale, Phoenix; has an MBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. He is also a certified administrator of the Myers Briggs Personality Type indicator. He is currently a Doctorate Research Associate in Business Administration at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

He teaches the Lean Six Sigma Masters Green Belt course at McMaster University and the Certificate course in Lean Six Sigma at The University of Toronto.

Markus Chiang, Associate
